I’m back from my wedding -- which was lovely by the way -- settling into the new apartment and working on getting back on track. It turns out basically taking six months off to move and plan my wedding really put me behind on my studio goals for the year.
Fortunately, I was able to take a little time off from my day job last week and I have so many great things in the works that I can’t wait to tell you about. In addition to prepping for the holiday rush, I’ve been hard at work on a bunch of new items that I’m really excited about. I’ll be expanding my line of beautiful, tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling jewelry, and finally introducing some gold items as well. I’ve also just got in a new set of alphabet stamps with a lovely, handwritten-style font. I think these will complement my work beautifully and I will be offering personalization on many of my items.
I’m also going to be sharing some details from my wedding and well as behind the scenes peeks as I set up my new studio and home. I’m so excited that we’ve been given permission to paint rooms in this apartment. The office/studio was a rather intense orange color, which I don’t mind on a small scale -- I even have a shirt that color. However, being in a room that color made me feel like I was inside a giant cantaloupe! So first things first, goodbye cantaloupe room!
In other news, it was Tesla's 3rd birthday yesterday! Today we took a trip to Stodder's Neck park in Hingham, MA. Both dogs had a fabulous time and I loved watching them running around, in their element. It was impossible to get good pictures of them, they wouldn't stand still and Tesla was a white blur in the sunlight!
I love getting outside with these two and watching them just be dogs. The fresh air and sunshine aren't so bad either!
